Role Description The Information Technology Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in El Obour, responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems that support maintenance and engineering operations. Day-to-day tasks include managing IT infrastructure and networks, monitoring system performance, and ensuring high availability and security of critical applications. The role involves leading and mentoring IT team members, coordinating support activities, and resolving technical issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders. The Information Technology Manager will also manage IT projects, work with vendors, and contribute to technology roadmaps that align with organizational goals. This position requires close coordination with operational departments to ensure that IT services are reliable, compliant, and well-integrated with aviation maintenance processes.
Qualifications

Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across technical and operational departments. Proficiency in managing IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and end-user systems, preferably in industrial or aviation environments. Experience with IT security practices, data protection, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations. Background in IT project management, including planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, and implementation of new systems or upgrades. Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, prioritize tasks, and maintain high service levels in a dynamic setting. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications (such as ITIL, PMP, or network/security certifications) are an asset. Familiarity with maintenance or engineering systems, ERP solutions, or industry-specific applications is advantageous.
