Role Description The Environmental Specialist (أخصائي بيئي) will be responsible for conducting environmental assessments, supporting compliance with relevant regulations, and contributing to the development of environmental policies and programs. Daily tasks include collecting and analyzing environmental data, preparing technical reports, and participating in site visits and inspections to evaluate environmental risks and performance. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that projects align with Environment Health and Safety (EHS) standards and sustainability objectives. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Qesm El Giza, requiring active participation in meetings, fieldwork, and client consultations. The Environmental Specialist will also help design and implement environmental awareness initiatives and support the integration of best practices into organizational operations.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Environmental Science and Environmental Policy, with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical projects. Proficiency in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) principles, including risk assessment and implementation of preventive measures. Experience with Environmental Compliance, including familiarity with relevant local and international regulations and standards. Excellent Communication skills for preparing clear reports, presenting findings, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Policy, or a related discipline. Ability to conduct fieldwork, analyze data, and use common office and environmental analysis software tools. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Previous experience in environmental consulting or similar roles in Egypt or the region is an advantage.
