Develop and execute annual and preventive maintenance programs for plastic injection machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize unplanned downtime.
Schedule maintenance activities in coordination with production plans.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and history logs.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic faults in injection molding machines and related equipment efficiently.
Ensure rapid response to breakdowns to reduce production interruptions.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate maintenance activities with production and factory management to avoid or minimize downtime.
Provide technical support during production issues related to machinery performance.
Monitor and ensure efficient operation of chillers and cooling systems, preventing leaks, inefficiencies, and failures.
Conduct routine inspections and ensure proper system performance aligned with production requirements.
Evaluate equipment condition and performance.
Provide technical recommendations for repair, replacement, or upgrading of machinery and components.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
Support digital transformation initiatives, including maintenance systems (CMMS), automation, and smart monitoring tools.
Participate in equipment upgrades and energy optimization projects to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Monitor maintenance expenses and ensure adherence to the approved maintenance budget.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising equipment performance or safety.
Ensure full compliance with occupational health and safety standards during all maintenance activities.
Promote safe working practices and participate in safety audits and risk assessments.
Prepare periodic maintenance reports, including KPIs (downtime, MTBF, MTTR, etc.).
Provide data-driven insights to support management decision-making.
Handle internal operational issues related to maintenance.
Support continuous improvement initiatives (CI) such as Lean, TPM, and efficiency optimization.
Requirements
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
Experience: 1- 3 years of experience in maintenance within plastic injection or manufacturing environments.
Ø Technical Skills
· Strong knowledge of plastic injection & blowing machines hydraulics, pneumatics, composers and cooling systems
· Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance systems ( TPM preferred).
· Good understanding of industrial safety standards.
