We’re Hiring | Senior IBM Middleware & PKI Engineer
We are looking for an experienced Senior IBM Middleware & PKI Engineer to support an enterprise infrastructure initiative involving certificate management and secure middleware integration.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess and review the organization’s Local Certification Authority (CA) environment.* Analyze certificate usage across enterprise platforms, including IBM Web Sphere Application Server, IBM MQ, and related systems.* Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize SSL/TLS, keystores, truststores, and certificate chains.* Manage the complete certificate lifecycle, including issuance, renewal, and revocation.* Document current configurations and recommend security and operational best practices.
Required Qualifications
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in IBM Middleware Administration.* Strong expertise in PKI, SSL/TLS, X.509 certificates, Java Keystores (JKS), PKCS12, Open SSL, and keytool.* Practical experience with IBM Web Sphere Application Server and IBM MQ.* Good understanding of Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) or other Enterprise CA solutions.* Experience on Linux and Windows enterprise environments.* Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred
* Experience with IBM HTTP Server, Web Sphere Liberty, or IBM Data Power.* Banking or other highly regulated enterprise environments.* IBM Middleware or Security certifications are a plus.
