Role Description The Senior Manufacturing Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Markaz El Wasta. This role is responsible for designing, optimizing, and overseeing manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and safety. Daily activities include analyzing production workflows, implementing process improvements, supporting equipment selection and maintenance strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as operations, quality, and maintenance. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will develop and maintain manufacturing standards, troubleshoot technical issues on the shop floor, and lead continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven methodologies. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers and technicians, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong expertise in Manufacturing Processes and Manufacturing Engineering. Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Industrial Engineering principles and practices. Candidates should possess a background in Mechanical Engineering with applied experience in manufacturing environments. Candidates should possess hands-on experience with Machining and related production technologies. Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage. Proven experience in a senior or lead manufacturing engineering role in a factory or industrial setting. Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools and familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and train others. Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and process documentation.
