Role Description The Sales Textile role at Elshams is a part-time, on-site position based in 10th of Ramadan. The role involves engaging with customers, understanding their textile needs, and recommending suitable products from the company’s range. Daily tasks include managing client inquiries, preparing and presenting product samples, negotiating prices within established guidelines, and processing sales orders accurately. The role also requires maintaining up-to-date knowledge of fabric types, specifications, and availability, as well as coordinating with the warehouse or production teams to ensure timely delivery. The Sales Textile team member will support merchandising activities, keep the showroom or sales area organized, and contribute to sales reporting and basic market feedback. Qualifications Strong sales and customer service skills, including the ability to build rapport, handle objections, and close sales in a professional manner. Basic knowledge of textiles or fabrics, with the ability to learn product features, quality standards, and common industry terms. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with clear spoken and written English and the ability to work with diverse customers and colleagues. Good organizational and time-management skills, including attention to detail when handling orders, documentation, and inventory-related tasks. Comfort with basic computer applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, and simple sales or inventory software) for recording sales and preparing reports. Ability to work on-site in 10th of Ramadan and maintain a professional, respectful attitude in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Prior experience in sales, retail, or textiles is an advantage but not strictly required; willingness to learn and adapt is essential.
