Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Role Description

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our maintenance team in a full-time, on-site role. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems and production equipment, executing preventive and corrective maintenance activities, troubleshooting electrical issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Role Responsibilities

- Plan and execute daily electrical maintenance activities across production lines.
- Respond to and resolve electrical breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults related to production machinery, control panels, motors, sensors, and automation systems.
- Assign tasks and supervise electrical maintenance technicians to ensure effective workflow.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment and systems.
- Monitor and maintain electrical utilities, including power distribution systems, compressors, generators, and related equipment.
- Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure smooth plant operations.
- Prepare and maintain maintenance documentation, reports, and follow-up records.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.
- Oversee the availability and procurement of electrical spare parts in coordination with relevant departments.
- Ensure timely completion and closure of maintenance requests and monthly maintenance plans.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing industries.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Leadership ability to coordinate and guide technicians.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with electrical safety standards and maintenance best practices.
