EY is seeking highly passionate and dynamic professionals from Urban Planning, Architecture, and Landscape Architecture backgrounds to join EY s Technical Hubs in Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan
As an Assistant Manager , you will play a vital role in researching, preparing, delivering and leading a diverse range of urban projects in close collaboration with our clients. You will prepare work which will be overseen by senior team members and business leaders across the MENA region, primarily in KSA, UAE and Qatar. Leveraging your industry knowledge, analytical abilities, and creative strategies, you will facilitate impactful change, enhance operational efficiency, and build strong client relationships. You will also have the opportunity to lead and mentor junior staff, and oversee the production of their deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Create compelling deliverables, including maps, drawings, reports, presentations, and strategic recommendations
- Prepare and self manage specific workstreams within client engagements, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery aligned with overall project goals
- Serve as a key contact for client and internal stakeholders on assigned workstreams, contributing to effective communication and relationship-building
- Guide and supervise junior staff, providing quality checks, coaching, and day-to-day oversight
- Collaborate with managers and engagement leaders to align internal resources and capabilities with client needs
- Synthesize and validate quantitative and qualitative analyses to support evidence-based decision-making
- Identify and flag potential delivery risks or challenges early, offering practical solutions and adjustments as needed
- Support business development efforts by leading and contributing to proposal development, opportunity scoping, and stakeholder research
- Actively invest in personal development through continuous learning, and seeking sector knowledge, mentorship and feedback
Work Environment
- Based in EY s technical hubs located in Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan
- High-performance team culture fostering continuous learning and development
- Travel may be required to other countries in the MENA region, based on client needs

Desired Candidate Profile
Education :
Bachelor s degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or Landscape Architecture from a leading institution.
Experience:
5-10 years of experience in management consulting and/or technical consulting
Mandatory Skills:
Bilingual (English and Arabic) proficiency
Structured Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated teamwork capabilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite
Prior experience preparing PowerPoint presentations
Architects and landscape architects must have a strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop and SketchUp
Desirable Skills:
Master s degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, or Landscape Architecture from a leading institution
Industry accreditations and certifications
Working knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
