Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ra’s Gharib for a Lifting Engineer. The Lifting Engineer will be responsible for designing lifting plans and operations, conducting safety assessments, and supervising lifting activities. The role includes inspecting and maintaining lifting equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and coordinating with project teams to ensure efficient execution of lifting tasks. The engineer will also prepare risk assessments and ensure safe lifting procedures are implemented and followed.

Qualifications

Experience in designing lifting plans and executing lifting operations safely and efficiently Familiarity with lifting equipment inspection, maintenance, and compliance with safety standards Strong knowledge of construction and engineering principles relevant to lifting operations Excellent communication and coordination skills for teamwork and project management Relevant certifications in lifting equipment operation and safety Degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred Ability to work on-site and adapt to industrial and challenging work environments Proficiency in risk analysis and safety assessment strategies
