Mechanical Project Engineer

Job Overview:
The Mechanical Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing mechanical works across projects from conception through completion. This role involves technical design review and cross-functional collaboration to ensure that all mechanical systems and components meet quality standards, project costing, and project timelines. 

Key Responsibilities:
Mechanical projects budgeting, execution and technical review:

Develop mechanical works scope, technical specifications, and engineering designs for mechanical systems and equipment.
Prepare and review mechanical drawings, schematics, and specifications in accordance with industry standards and codes.
Perform engineering calculations and simulations to validate design specifications.
Project Execution & Coordination:

Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all mechanical engineering tasks are completed on time.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil, electrical, and structural engineers, to integrate mechanical systems into overall project design.
Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
Monitor project progress and resolve any technical issues that arise during execution.
Budget & Cost Management:

Prepare and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Evaluate vendor and contractor proposals to ensure the best value and compliance with technical specifications.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining project quality and safety standards.
Technical Support & Documentation:

Provide technical guidance and support during project installation, testing, and commissioning.
Ensure that all project documentation, including as-built drawings, project reports, and technical manuals, is accurately maintained.
Conducted project reviews, generated reports, and presented findings to stakeholders.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:

Ensure compliance with relevant engineering codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
Develop and implement quality assurance procedures for all mechanical systems and components.
Perform site inspections and quality checks to verify that installations conform to design specifications.
Stakeholder Communication:

Communicate project updates, challenges, and solutions effectively to project teams, management, and clients.
Facilitate project meetings, design reviews, and technical discussions with internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Power Engineering.3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, project management, or a related role.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design, including HVAC, piping, rotating equipment, and heat exchangers.Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) - HAPUnderstanding of industry standards (ASME, API, etc.) and safety regulations.Key Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent project management and organizational abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and within a team environment.Experience in budgeting, scheduling, and cost control.Preferred Certifications:BSC. in Mechanical Power Engineering
