WE ARE HIRING | HEAD OF STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of Structural Engineering to join our growing consultancy team located in El-Sheikh Zayed, Egypt. Our company is involved in mixed-use, commercial, residential, hospitality, and large-scale development projects across Egypt, the Middle East, and Africa. We are looking for a strong technical leader who can combine engineering expertise, team leadership, responsibility, commitment, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
▪️ Lead and manage the Structural Engineering Department and its project teams.
▪️ Take responsibility for the quality, delivery, coordination, and performance of structural projects.
▪️ Lead structural design, analysis, detailing, and design reviews across different project stages.
▪️ Review & ensure compliance with international & local codes, standards, & authority requirements.
▪️ Coordinate effectively with Architecture, MEP, BIM, and other disciplines.
▪️ Lead & mentor team, develop team capabilities, & create a collaborative & productive environment.
▪️ Manage project priorities, deadlines, resources, and time management.
▪️ Prepare and review manpower estimates, project programs, fee proposals, and technical proposals.
▪️ Assess project requirements and allocate the appropriate structural resources and expertise.
▪️ Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, presentations, and coordination meetings.
▪️ Ensure effective communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience in structural design & design review.
Strong knowledge of structural codes, standards, & design practices.
Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and responsibility/ownership mindset.
Strong interpersonal & communication skills, and ability to socialize, motivate, & lead effectively.
Experience in BIM workflows & multidisciplinary coordination, with good knowledge of Navisworks & coordination.
Ability to estimate manpower, resources, fees, & time requirements for projects and proposals.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent spoken and written English.
