Responsibilities:
Oversee receiving, storage, and issuing activities according to approved procedures.
Monitor stock movements and ensure actual counts match the system.
Organize periodic and surprise inventories and address discrepancies if any.
Supervise a team of warehouse custodians and workers, assign tasks, and monitor performance.
Ensure application of safety and occupational health standards within the warehouse.
Monitor order and storage of products to ensure easy access and preservation.
Prepare regular inventory and item movement reports.
Coordinate with different departments to ensure product availability and fast order fulfillment.
Monitor loading and unloading operations and ensure product safety.
Contribute to improving operational processes and increasing warehouse efficiency.
Job requirements:
Bachelor’s or diploma appropriate to the role.
At least 3 years of experience in warehousing.
Good knowledge of warehouse systems, stocktaking procedures, and inventory management.
Leadership skills and ability to manage teams.
Ability to work under pressure and solve problems.
Preferable experience in distribution or consumer goods (FMCG).
