Role Description The Front-Office Shift Leader is responsible for supervising daily front-office operations, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes, and maintaining high standards of guest service. This full-time, on-site role in Hurghada includes overseeing front-desk staff during assigned shifts, coordinating room assignments, handling guest inquiries and complaints, and managing reservations and payments. The shift leader monitors lobby activity, supports receptionist duties, and ensures that phone and in-person communication is courteous, accurate, and timely. The role also involves maintaining front-office records, aligning staff schedules with occupancy trends, and collaborating with other departments to support overall hotel operations.
Qualifications

Strong customer service skills with experience in receptionist duties and front-office operations. Proficient phone etiquette and appointment scheduling or reservation management abilities. Effective communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with guests and team members. Previous experience in hospitality, hotel front desk, or similar guest-facing roles is highly beneficial. Ability to lead and motivate a front-office team, handle multiple tasks, and resolve issues calmly and professionally. Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and basic computer proficiency (PMS or reservation systems experience is a plus). Flexible availability for shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
