Main Responsibilities and Tasks: First: Operations

Operate and stop the cooling plant according to approved operating procedures
Monitor the operation of compressors, condensers, evaporators, and ammonia pumps
Continuously monitor system pressures and temperatures
Monitor oil levels and oil separators
Monitor ammonia levels inside vessels and tanks
Record all daily operation readings
Ensure stability of temperatures in cold rooms and production areas
Monitor the efficiency of cooling towers and water cycles

Second: Maintenance

Perform preventive maintenance according to the maintenance plan
Carry out corrective maintenance for emergency faults
Replace oils, filters, and spare parts as needed
Inspect valves, control devices, and measuring instruments
Identify causes of faults and take corrective actions
Ensure the safety of ammonia pipelines, connections, and welding. Maintain equipment efficiency and extend its operating life

Third: Handling of Ammonia

Full familiarity with properties of liquid and gaseous ammonia
Safe handling of ammonia during operation and maintenance
Perform ammonia charging, unloading, and transportation operations according to approved procedures
Execute Pump Down operations when needed
Detect ammonia leaks and respond immediately
Ensure the safety of safety valves and isolation valves
Adherence to all instructions for handling industrial ammonia
