Role Description The Planning Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Asyut, Egypt. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining operational and financial plans that support Met Life’s local business objectives. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing data and performance metrics, preparing reports and forecasts, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to align plans with organizational goals. The Planning Specialist will support decision-making by providing insights, identifying risks and opportunities, and recommending adjustments to plans as needed. The role also involves supporting customer-facing teams with accurate information and ensuring that planning processes contribute to a consistent and high-quality customer experience. Qualifications Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and produce actionable insights. Proficiency in planning and forecasting, with experience in developing operational or financial plans. Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present information clearly to stakeholders. Basic to intermediate knowledge of finance, with the ability to understand budgets, financial reports, and key performance indicators. Customer service orientation, with a commitment to supporting internal and external customers through accurate and timely planning information. Relevant academic background, such as a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Ability to work on-site in Asyut, Egypt, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment. Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Excel, Power Point) and comfort working with planning or reporting tools.
