Role Description The Offline English Instructor for Adults will deliver interactive, high-quality English lessons to adult learners at SYE English Community branches in Dokki, Maadi, Nasr City, and October, with the primary work location in Giza. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on teaching English, facilitating discussions, and guiding learners through structured curricula and skill-building activities. Daily responsibilities include planning lessons, preparing teaching materials, assessing learners’ progress, giving constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance. The instructor will also help organize workshops, support community events, collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching methods, and ensure a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and continuous improvement. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field. At least 1 year of English teaching experience, preferably in language academies or training centres. Some roles prefer 2+ years. Advanced English proficiency (C1/C2 level is preferred for some positions). A TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA teaching certificate is an advantage, and some vacancies specifically mention following CELTA standards. Strong presentation, communication, and classroom management skills. Ability to prepare lesson plans, assess students, and teach using interactive, communicative methods. Willingness to work at branches such as Dokki, Maadi, Nasr City, or October, with full-time, part-time, or freelance opportunities available.
