Position Overview Join our IC Verification Solutions (ICVS) Division and become part of the QuestaSim Quality Assurance Team. QuestaSim is one of the industry's leading high-performance, high-capacity simulators, offering a unified and advanced debugging environment for hardware designs. As a QA Test Engineer , you'll gain extensive experience with today's advanced functional verification solutions for complex hardware designs and build a solid foundation in hardware design and verification using a wide range of Hardware Description Languages (HDLs) and testbench specification languages, including Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL, SystemC, SVA, UPF, and UVM. Key Responsibilities: • Develop in-depth expertise in the QuestaSim simulator and gain a strong understanding of its underlying technologies • Write, maintain, and execute product test and quality plans • Design, execute, and summarize test cases • Participate in various types of product testing throughout the release lifecycle, including integration testing, regression testing, license testing, installation testing, and GUI testing • Build test automation frameworks to reduce manual testing effort and improve testing turnaround time • Understand customer use cases and support the integration of customer designs into internal test environments Qualifications: • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field • Excellent understanding of digital and RTL design fundamentals • Strong knowledge of Hardware Description Languages (HDLs), such as Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog • Experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, Python, or Qt • Familiarity with software quality assurance concepts, software testing methodologies, and test automation tools • Excellent communication skills and ability to present ideas clearly Why Us At Siemens Software, flexibility is how we work—hybrid by default, built on trust and autonomy. Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this position is USD 17,700 to USD 35,400 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
