Role Description The Business Development Specialist is a full-time hybrid role based in 6th of October, with some flexibility for work from home. This role focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with employers and partners, and promoting IAN’s recruitment platform to drive growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include generating leads, conducting market research, qualifying prospects, and presenting tailored solutions that meet client hiring needs. The specialist will collaborate with internal teams to improve service offerings, track performance metrics, and provide feedback on market trends. The role also involves handling client inquiries, delivering high-quality customer service, and maintaining accurate records in CRM and reporting tools. Qualifications Strong analytical skills to interpret data, assess market trends, and support informed business decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships, deliver presentations, and negotiate with stakeholders. Proven experience in lead generation and prospecting to expand the client base and drive revenue growth. Ability to conduct structured market research to identify opportunities, understand competition, and refine go-to-market strategies. Customer service orientation with the ability to respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain client satisfaction. Previous experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in recruitment, HR technology, or B2B services. Comfort with CRM systems and online platforms, with solid proficiency in MS Office or similar productivity tools. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Self-motivated, organized, and able to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing both on-site and remote tasks.
