Purpose of the job

To implement all decisions and instructions issued by the Authority, supervise the Branch’s competencies, overcome obstacles hindering exports and imports operations, and ensure efficient workflow in accordance with approved systems and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in preparing operational programs and policies and monitor their implementation.
• Oversee branch activities and evaluate staff performance.
• Coordinate between branch activities, central departments, and relevant entities.
• Oversee inspection procedures and quality control of incoming shipments.
• Monitor port and inspection area operations.
• Supervise occupational safety and health procedures.
• Supervise service delivery to customers.
• Prepare and submit periodic reports to senior management.
• Perform any other tasks related to the nature of the position.

Skills and qualifications required

• Proficiency in a foreign language.
• Proficiency in computer use.
• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and procedures governing work.

Experience required

• For state administrative apparatus employees: completion of a transitional period of at least one year in a position at the lowest administrative level directly (First B).
• For applicants from outside the state administrative apparatus: practical experience of at least 16 years in a field compatible with the nature of the job.
