Job Overview Midea Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Logistics Specialist to manage and optimize import and export operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in international logistics, customs procedures, and supplier coordination, ensuring smooth and efficient supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities1. Import Operations Coordinate with logistics agents to ensure ACID is applied accurately and on time before shipment loading. Monitor international transportation status and proactively identify delay risks. Apply and track FORM4 to ensure readiness before shipment arrival at port. Track customs clearance progress and manage risk alerts. Coordinate PTW transportation and ensure smooth cargo movement. Prepare and update daily import tracking reports. Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate monthly KPI performance. Review supplier invoices and coordinate with Finance for payment tracking. Work closely with factories and agents to resolve urgent operational issues.2. Export Operations Identify logistics solutions and arrange space booking for export shipments from Egypt. Coordinate timely truck loading at factories with logistics partners. Prepare export documentation, including Commercial Invoice (CI) and Packing List (PL). Prepare and update daily export tracking reports. Maintain supplier relationships and conduct monthly KPI evaluations. Collaborate with factories and agents to handle urgent export-related issues. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, import/export, or customs operations. Strong understanding of international shipping processes and documentation. Excellent cross-functional communication and coordination skills. Fluent in English and local language (both written and spoken). Strong teamwork mindset with the ability to work collaboratively. Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently. Preferred Skills Experience working with international logistics agents and customs authorities. Strong problem-solving and risk management abilities. High attention to detail and organizational skills.
