Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced Squad Lead to lead the development and delivery of innovative Banking and Fin Tech solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, extensive hands-on experience in Java, Angular, and Mobile development, and a proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale banking applications in an Agile environment. The Squad Lead will manage a multidisciplinary Agile squad, collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, and ensure the successful delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performing digital banking solutions. Fluency in French is mandatory due to direct collaboration with French-speaking clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a cross-functional Agile squad delivering Banking and Fin Tech solutions. Drive the design, development, and implementation of enterprise applications using Java, Angular, and Mobile technologies. Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to define technical solutions aligned with business objectives. Ensure delivery of secure, scalable, and high-quality banking applications following industry best practices. Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Mentor and coach developers while fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement. Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards and secure coding practices. Manage technical risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines. Support CI/CD implementation and Dev Ops practices. Work closely with Banking and Fin Tech stakeholders to deliver digital transformation initiatives. Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, and governance frameworks.
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.8 years of software development experience.4_5 years of experience as a Squad Lead, Technical Lead, or Engineering Lead. Strong hands-on experience with:Java (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud) Microservices Architecture Angular Mobile Development (Android, i OS, Flutter, or React Native) Experience with RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures. Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
