Role Description The AI Artist is a full-time, on-site role . This role focuses on using AI-based tools and workflows to generate, refine, and enhance visual assets for editing, color grading, and VFX projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and iterating AI-generated imagery, collaborating with editors, colorists, and VFX artists to integrate assets into final compositions, and optimizing prompts and models to achieve the desired artistic direction. The AI Artist will also support the team by maintaining organized asset libraries, testing new AI tools, and contributing creative ideas to pitches, concept development, and look exploration. Close collaboration with the production team and adherence to project timelines and quality standards are essential. Qualifications Strong foundation in digital art and design, with proficiency in visual composition, color, and storytelling. Experience using AI image-generation tools and workflows (e.g., diffusion models, image-to-image, upscaling, and style transfer). Working knowledge of post-production environments, and familiarity with editing, color grading, or VFX pipelines. Proficiency in common creative software (such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or comparable tools) for refining AI-generated assets. Ability to translate creative briefs into effective prompts and visual concepts, and iterate quickly based on feedback. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills for asset management, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced studio setting. Collaborative mindset, clear communication skills, and openness to experimentation with emerging AI technologies. Relevant education or training in art, design, animation, media production, or a related field is beneficial; prior experience in a post-production or creative studio is a plus.
