Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are hiring a Sitecore DevOps / Platform Engineer to own CI/CD, environment management and operational readiness for a Sitecore XM Cloud platform. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Sitecore CLI and Azure DevOps / Git, with a branching strategy aligned to client IT governance.
- Manage the provided Sitecore environments (non-production and production), including refresh cadence and serialization-based deployments.
- Support the hosting, disaster-recovery and business-continuity posture: backup and restore SLAs, multi-region failover, and 24/7 availability targets.
- Run performance and load benchmarking against the targets (page load, API p95, concurrency, TPS) and feed results back to the team.
- Coordinate edge configuration (Cloudflare Enterprise WAF, CDN, DDoS, dark-site/crisis mode) with the security team.
- Set up monitoring, centralised logging (log shipping to the client SIEM) and alerting; support incident response during hypercare.
- Document runbooks and lead knowledge-transfer to the client operations team.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 4+ years of DevOps / platform engineering.
- Hands-on Azure DevOps and SiteCore CLI / SiteCore Content Serialization.
- Containerisation (Docker / Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipeline design.
- Cloud hosting plus disaster-recovery and backup experience.
- Git branching strategy and release management.
- Nice-to-have Sitecore XM Cloud deployment experience specifically.
- Cloudflare Enterprise (WAF / CDN / DDoS) configuration.
- IEM / log-shipping experience.
- Performance and load testing tooling.
- Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform / Bicep).
- Hands-on experience with real-world projects and clients.
