Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all electrical systems and equipment within the factory. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and automation issues, supporting production operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to maximize equipment uptime and productivity
Key Responsibilities Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on electrical equipment and systems. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical breakdowns to minimize production downtime. Maintain and repair motors, drives, control panels, transformers, switchgear, and power distribution systems. Monitor and maintain PLC, HMI, SCADA, and automation systems. Support production teams by ensuring the availability and reliability of manufacturing equipment. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and company HSE standards. Coordinate with contractors and suppliers during maintenance and project activities. Participate in installation, commissioning, and startup of new equipment and production lines. Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and technical documentation. Identify opportunities for energy saving and process improvement. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability Manage spare parts requirements and ensure critical inventory availability.
Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.3–7 years of experience in industrial manufacturing environments. Experience in Tobacco, FMCG, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Packaging, Paper, or similar highly automated industries is preferred. Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance, industrial automation, and control systems.
