The OpportunityProposal and Renewal Analysis, Plan Change Underwriting, Client/Sales negotiation, case experience analysis, Exposure to financial arrangements, understands how underwriting/ pricing models are developed, participate in departments monthly/quarterly reports. The Underwriter begins to make simple decisions regarding deviations to standard underwriting / pricing rules. The Underwriter also gains exposures to the P&L.
How You’ll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)- Effectively monitor and enforce compliance to GMD underwriting rules as published in Underwriting Manual.
- Provide underwriting direction for local cases within given authority level. For Large and complex cases, provide local assessment and input before sending to Senior Underwriter / Regional Office for review and approval.
- Assure timely collection and review of Renewal Activity Reports at local level and determines any exceptions to published GMD underwriting rules and report these to regional management and Home Office.
- Review policies and endorsements before their issuance.
- Comply with MetLife Code of Conduct and ensure that it is fully adhered to all times.
- Administering the sales support team in managing the workflow of individual medical underwriting process.
What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)
- 1- 2 years of experience is preferable in Insurance industry.
- Excellent command of Excel and Power BI.
- Excellent command in spoken and written English.
- Time Management skills.
- High Observation skills.
