- Lead and supervise the accounting section, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Coordinate and manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data, producing financial reports and statements for management review.
- Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and safeguard company assets.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support during audits.
- Ensure proper reconciliation of accounts, including bank, vendor, and customer accounts.
- Supervise, mentor, and train accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and industry best practices, ensuring ongoing compliance.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years and up to 9 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations (local and international).Proven experience in managing month-end and year-end closing processes.Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
