Associate Purchase Manager ( Raw Material) is responsible for supporting the procurement of raw materials from both local and international suppliers. This role involves vendor evaluation, contract negotiation, order processing, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality and cost efficiency. The position requires strong analytical, negotiation, and coordination skills to align procurement activities with production and business goals to achieve below Tasks. 1. Strategic Need - Increased Procurement Complexity: With Dabur Egypt expanding its product portfolio and sourcing from both local and international suppliers, procurement complexity has grown. Managing supplier relationships, compliance, and logistics across geographies requires dedicated focus.
- Risk Mitigation: Global sourcing introduces risks such as currency fluctuations, geopolitical instability, and supply chain disruptions. A dedicated associate manager can proactively manage these risks through supplier diversification and contingency planning.
2. Operational Efficiency - Lead Time Reduction: A focused role can reduce lead times, ensuring raw materials are available when needed, minimizing production delays.
- Improved Supplier Performance: Regular monitoring and engagement can improve supplier on-time delivery rates enhancing production continuity.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.Preferred: Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, APICS) is an advantage.Minimum 4–6 years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain, preferably in FMCG, manufacturing, or pharmaceutical industries.Proven track record in raw material sourcing (local & international) and supplier management.
