- Responsible for the operations of the company trucks & vehicles.
- Maintain the overall performance of fleet management.
- Ensure optimized logistics solutions for maintaining maximum fleet utilization.
- Ensure and follow-up compliance with all applicable laws & regulations (traffic laws, EGPC standards, Company Standards & procedures) and safety management system for transport.
- Manage all customers transport complaints as per the agreed SLA.
- Participate in tendering preparation and negotiations for implementing all required specs with best offers.
- Develop Road Risk Assessments.
- Supervise the vetting & technical inspections of trucks and vehicles in compliance with the company grids.
- Enforce HSEQ rules and procedures in transportation activity.
- Analyze & report transportation incidents using root cause analysis and follow up implementation of corrective actions.
- Define and implement emergency transportation plan.
Bachelor's Degree (Business or Automotive Technology are preferred).Logistics studies are an advantage.Solid Knowledge of trucks/vehicle specifications and applications.Good knowledge of traffic laws & regulations.Solid experience with the logistics field & Heavy trucking.Ability to deal with people of different backgrounds.Professional user of Microsoft Excel.From 10 to 13 years of experience as a manager in heavy trucking fieldAt least 3 Years of experience leading a team and responsible for the fleet operations.
