Student Recruitment Manager

The Student Recruitment Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation of strategic recruitment initiatives aimed at attracting and enrolling a diverse and high-achieving undergraduate student body. Serving as a key representative of the university, this role builds and maintains strong relationships with prospective students, families, high school counselors, and community partners.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with school and program leadership to identify and articulate the institution’s key strengths and differentiators.
  • Develop and implement targeted undergraduate recruitment strategies informed by data analysis and market trends.
  • Assess both local and international markets to identify new recruitment opportunities and enhance outreach efforts.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with secondary schools and counselors; coordinate school visits and deliver presentations to introduce university programs and guide students in exploring academic majors.
  • Represent the university at educational fairs, school visits, and community events. Plan and execute both on-campus and off-campus events for prospective students and their families.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of current students to serve as university ambassadors, supporting recruitment initiatives and representing the student experience.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and their families; collaborate with the marketing team to deliver personalized communications through digital channels.
  • Work cross-functionally with admissions, academic departments, and student services to ensure a seamless and engaging experience for prospective students.
  • Participate in the university’s scholarship committee, contributing to the development of recruitment-focused scholarship criteria, reviewing candidate profiles, and identifying high-potential students for merit-based awards.
  • Monitor recruitment outcomes, analyze performance data, and generate reports to continuously improve strategies and meet enrollment targets

QualificationsBachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Education, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.Strong understanding of the undergraduate admissions cycle and the student decision-making process.Demonstrated experience in planning and executing student-focused programs, events, and recruitment initiatives.Proven ability to manage large-scale events and execute strategic recruitment campaigns effectively.Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills.Willingness and ability to travel regionally and/or internationally as needed; flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends. Deadline for Applications: 31 October 2025
