- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning tools.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to gather input for schedule development and updates.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks, proposing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports, including critical path analysis and resource allocation updates.
- Ensure alignment of project timelines with contractual requirements and client expectations.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Analyze project data to forecast resource needs and optimize utilization.
- Support the preparation of extension of time (EOT) claims and delay analysis documentation.
- Participate in project meetings, providing expert advice on planning and scheduling matters.
- Continuously improve planning processes and tools to enhance project delivery efficiency.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.3 to 5 years of proven experience as a Planning Engineer in the construction industry is A MustStrong proficiency in project planning and scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.Solid understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and resource management.Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contracts.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder collaboration.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.Experience working in an office-based environment with occasional site visits as required.Giza are welcome to apply
