Production Planning Engineer is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing operations through detailed planning, coordination, and process optimization:

• Develop and execute Master Production Schedules (daily, weekly, monthly) aligned with sales forecasts and customer demand 
• Coordinate production resources—manpower, machinery, raw materials—to meet planned output with minimal delays 
• Monitor production performance (schedule adherence, plan accuracy etc.), analyze deviations, and implement corrective actions 
• Liaise with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production teams to ensure material availability and resolve bottlenecks 
• Manage Work-In-Progress (WIP), track flow between lines, and update plans accordingly 
• Ensure timely reporting to management with status updates, production challenges, and improvement opportunities .
• Identify and implement productivity improvements and cost reduction initiatives .
• Handle production disruptions—proactively and in real-time —to maintain schedule 
• Use ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), Excel, and planning tools (e.g., MS Project, Power BI) to manage planning and reporting 
• Mentor junior planners and support continuous process improvement 
• Successfully communicate, forecast inventory estimations to management
• Coordinate monthly forecast maintenance
