Business Development Engineer

1. Market Analysis and Strategic Expansion

Conduct thorough market research to identify target customers, industry trends, and competitive dynamics within the metals sector.

Develop strategic plans to penetrate new local and export markets and expand the company’s commercial footprint.

Monitor and report on shifts in market demand, pricing, and emerging opportunities.

2. Client Acquisition & Key Account Management

Identify and pursue potential clients including manufacturers, industrial consumers, and project developers.

Act as a key account manager, maintaining proactive and professional communication with clients.

Respond to all client inquiries with technical precision, using well-structured and coded documentation.

Maintain a high standard of relationship management to ensure satisfaction and long-term retention.

3. Sales and Revenue Generation

Develop a strong sales pipeline, qualify leads, and convert prospects to clients.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms while maximizing value for both the company and the client.

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets aligned with company objectives.

4. Technical Product Expertise and Client Presentations

Maintain deep understanding of the company's metal products, applications, and technical specifications.

Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client requirements.

Prepare and share technical proposals and customized client portfolios as needed.

5. Internal Collaboration and Execution

Liaise with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of customer orders.

Coordinate with marketing to craft campaigns and technical brochures aligned with commercial goals.

Support the development of commercial tools, templates, and processes.

6. Reporting and Documentation

Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales pipelines, contracts, and market activities using CRM and ERP systems.

Generate regular reports and dashboards on business development progress, client feedback, and market insights for executive review.

Create and manage structured client documentation workflows with consistent branding and coding.


Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field required)3+ years of experience in sales, business development, or key account management (preferably in industrial or metals sectors)Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and EnglishHigh proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint) and business documentationExperience in CRM/ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) is a plusStrong organizational skills and attention to detail
