Department: Clinical Operations
Reports To: Head Nurse
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome and prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
- Assist in minor outpatient procedures and treatments under supervision.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, symptoms, and basic health information.
- Provide assistance with wound care, bandaging, and post-procedure instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and medical equipment.
- Assist patients with mobility or comfort during their clinic visit.
- Update and maintain accurate patient records in the system.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and clinic safety protocols.
- Coordinate with nurses, doctors, and administrative staff to manage patient flow efficiently.
- Offer emotional support to patients and maintain a respectful, empathetic approach.
High School Diploma or equivalent (required)Proven work experience as a Nursing Assistant or similar role1+ years in a clinic or outpatient setting (vascular or surgical experience is a plus)Excellent attention to detailGreat written and verbal communicationAbility to carefully read and follow directionsFlexibility in work duties and scheduleGood teamwork skillsAbility to lift and move patientsGood foundation of clinical skills and knowledgeRelevant training and/or certifications as a Nursing AssistantWorking Conditions:Full-time role in a clinic settingWorking hours may include weekends or evenings based on schedulingMust be comfortable assisting in minimally invasive procedures
