Job Opportunity: Production Engineer at ProMax

ProMax Food Industries is seeking a highly skilled Production Engineer to oversee our specialized production area, focused on manufacturing innovative and healthy food products, including protein bars, nutritious dough products, spreads, and biscuits.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the production area, ensuring optimal operation and efficiency of production lines.
  • Operate, adjust, and maintain a wide range of specialized equipment, including:
    • Filling and packaging lines (liquid filling machines, flow-pack machine, cup sealing machines).
    • Chocolate processing equipment (conching machines, storage tanks, chocolate coating machines, cooling tunnels).
    • Nut and herb grinding equipment.
    • Powder mixing and filling equipment.
    • Cooling and freezing systems (shock freezers, cooling tunnels).
    • Induction and sealing machines, labeling, and date printing equipment.
  • Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance is regularly conducted.
  • Coordinate closely with the R&D department to improve processes and maintain product quality standards.
  • Uphold and enforce strict quality control and food safety standards.

 Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of experience in food manufacturing, preferably with direct experience in similar product categories.Proven experience as a Production Engineer, preferably in sauces, protein bars, spreads, or chocolate manufacturing.Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.Experience with process optimization, troubleshooting, and efficiency improvement.Proficiency in using manufacturing software and automation systems.Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication and leadership abilities to coordinate with cross-functional teams.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and other food safety regulations is a plus.
