IT Sales specialist

  • As a Technology Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and selling technology solutions such as software, cloud services, networking, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
  • This role requires a combination of sales expertise, industry knowledge, and strong communication skills to drive revenue and meet business targets.

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting and networking.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with B2B or B2C clients.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.

Customer Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Understand customer pain points and present tailored technology solutions.
  • Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients through account management.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, helping businesses optimize their technology investments.

Solution Selling & Demonstrations

  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations for potential clients.
  • Explain technical features and business benefits of technology solutions.
  • Work closely with pre-sales engineers to design customized solutions.

Negotiation & Contract Management

  • Develop competitive pricing strategies and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts, service-level agreements (SLAs), and licensing deals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

Market & Competitive Research

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors.
  • Provide insights to product and marketing teams based on customer feedback.

Sales Reporting & CRM Management

  • Maintain accurate sales records and track progress in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.).
  • Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports for management.

Required Skills & QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or related field.Technology Knowledge: Basic understanding of cloud computing, SaaS, cybersecurity, networking, or AI solutions.Sales & Communication Skills: Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.Negotiation & Closing Skills: Ability to handle objections and close deals effectively.CRM & Sales Tools: Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, or other CRM software.
