- As a Technology Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and selling technology solutions such as software, cloud services, networking, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
- This role requires a combination of sales expertise, industry knowledge, and strong communication skills to drive revenue and meet business targets.
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting and networking.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with B2B or B2C clients.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
- Understand customer pain points and present tailored technology solutions.
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients through account management.
- Act as a trusted advisor, helping businesses optimize their technology investments.
Solution Selling & Demonstrations
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations for potential clients.
- Explain technical features and business benefits of technology solutions.
- Work closely with pre-sales engineers to design customized solutions.
Negotiation & Contract Management
- Develop competitive pricing strategies and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts, service-level agreements (SLAs), and licensing deals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Market & Competitive Research
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors.
- Provide insights to product and marketing teams based on customer feedback.
Sales Reporting & CRM Management
- Maintain accurate sales records and track progress in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.).
- Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports for management.
