About the Project:
Are you ready to apply your agricultural project management expertise to transform small-scale farming? Misr El Kheir (MEK) Foundation is launching an innovative project aimed at reducing food loss and enhancing the agricultural value chain. We are seeking an experienced and passionate female Field Coordinator to empower small-scale female farmers by establishing Solar Dryer Units for producing dried tomatoes, vegetables, and herbs, and by delivering capacity-building training to boost their productivity and profitability.

Role Overview:
As the Field Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in driving the project’s success. You will be responsible for providing technical support, coordinating field activities, and ensuring the timely execution of all agricultural initiatives. Your proactive approach in monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on project progress will help overcome field challenges and ensure the project’s objectives are met. You will work closely with project beneficiaries, government agencies, and other stakeholders to create a lasting impact on the livelihoods of small-scale farmers.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support & Training:

  • Provide expert technical guidance to farmers and other project beneficiaries in implementing key project activities.
  • Organize and facilitate training sessions and workshops on relevant agricultural topics, including the operation of Solar Dryer Units and best practices in crop processing.

Project Implementation:

  • Oversee the timely and effective execution of all agricultural productivity enhancement activities.
  • Monitor the establishment of Solar Dryer Units, manage the distribution of agricultural inputs, and ensure that training sessions are conducted efficiently.

Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Collaborate with local government agencies, agricultural extension workers, and other stakeholders to streamline project activities.
  • Work in tandem with the project team and community members to plan, schedule, and assign tasks related to field operations.

Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Conduct regular field visits to assess project progress and gather feedback.
  • Prepare and submit timely reports to the Project Manager, highlighting any constraints and providing recommendations for resolving field issues.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of robust project monitoring and evaluation plans.

Strategic Support:

  • Contribute to the development of strategies that enhance project impact and ensure sustainability.
  • Assist in drafting project proposals and other related documents to support ongoing and future initiatives.

•  bachelor's degree in agriculture, • At least 3-5 years of experience in agricultural development, preferably in a field-based role.• Experience and practical knowledge of producing horticultural crops and their basic problems.• Knowledge of society work and awareness activities.• Working knowledge in the English and Arabic languages• Computer literacy in standard office software. • Experience in report writing and data analysis.• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and other stakeholders in a multicultural setting, with sensitivity and respect for diversity.• Good knowledge of agricultural production systems and practices, particularly in the project's focus areas.• Relevance and extent of experience in working with inter-governmental bodies and multi-disciplinary teams.• Good knowledge of agricultural production systems and practices, particularly in the project's focus areas.Resident in El Fayoum Governorate
