- Review and approve individual treatment plans proposed by attending physicians
- Ensure treatment plans are evidence-based and align with national or international clinical
guidelines and within the project SOPs - Evaluate medical histories, diagnostic reports, and current medical conditions to validate
treatment approaches. - Review patient medical records, clinical notes, and diagnostic results to ensure accuracy and
completeness. - Ensure that all necessary medical documentation is properly signed, dated, and stored according
to Project protocols. - Review and approve prescriptions for patients, ensuring that medications are appropriate, safe,
and in accordance with medical guidelines. - Approve prescription refills and follow-up treatment plans as required.
- Participate in regular audits of medical practices to identify areas of improvement and
compliance issues. - Offer mentorship and clinical advice to ensure that all staff members adhere to best practice
standards. - Provide feedback and conduct performance evaluations for clinical staff when needed.
- Ensure proper reporting and documentation of adverse events or complications.
- Referral of the approved services to the service providers according to SOPs of the project.
- Any additional tasks related to the project and position.
A recognized medical degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent).Typically, 2+ years of clinical experience in approval positions, with demonstratedexpertise in patient care and medical decision-making.Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with healthcarestaff, patients, and administrative teams.Ability to mentor and guide junior staff, as well as collaborate effectively withmultidisciplinary teams.Exceptional attention to detail in reviewing medical documentation and treatment plans.Sufficient knowledge in Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel)
