- Create detailed designs and specifications for firefighting systems in aerodromes and heliports, including fire suppression, detection, and alarm systems.
- Ensure all designs meet the relevant international and local standards, such as ICAO, NFPA, and local civil aviation regulations.
- Lead projects from concept to completion, coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely and effective implementation.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify potential fire hazards and recommend appropriate safety measures.
- Provide technical guidance and support to operations teams, including troubleshooting and optimization of existing systems.
- Prepare detailed reports, technical drawings, and documentation to support the design and implementation of firefighting systems.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to ensure designs meet all operational and safety requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in designing firefighting systems for aerodromes and heliports.Knowledge of international firefighting standards and regulations specific to aviation.Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 2D , Civil 3D or similar tools.Excellent project management and organizational skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Preferred Qualifications:Professional certification in fire protection or related fieldsExperience working within the aviation industry or on projects involving aerodromes and heliports.Proven experience (2-3) Consultant Offices in designing firefighting systems
