VF Cash Business Development Lead

Role Purpose

This role focuses on driving business development and overseeing project management within the fintech and banking sectors. Responsibilities include identifying new opportunities, crafting growth strategies, and understanding key industry players. The role requires managing complex projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery while staying updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies. Additionally, tracking competitor activities and analysing their offerings will be crucial for developing a competitive advantage and aligning both project outcomes and business initiatives with organizational goals.

Role Profile

Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership:


Business Development & Strategic Partnerships:
•    Identify new market opportunities within the fintech and banking sectors
•    Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to craft competitive strategies and enhance business development efforts.


Project Initiation:
•    Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables while identifying key stakeholders and establishing effective communication channels.
•    Develop and implement operational strategies to support the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and delivery.


Project Planning:
•    Create comprehensive project plans detailing tasks, timelines, resources, budgets, and risks. Manage communication and stakeholder engagement while securing project team commitments.
•    Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes to align project outcomes with overall organizational growth and success.


Project Execution:
•    Coordinate project activities, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure efficient resource management and timely delivery.
•    Apply industry best practices and stay informed about trends in project management to drive continuous improvement and innovation.


Stakeholder Management:
•    Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs, manage their expectations, and communicate project progress effectively.


Risk Management:
•    Identify and assess potential risks impacting project success, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary to manage and minimize risks.
