Job Summary:

The HR Manager will lead and direct all the HR functions in our chemical manufacturing and distribution company. The role encompasses strategic planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and ensuring compliance with Egyptian labor laws.

The HR manager will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive workplace culture and enhancing employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Planning:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
  • Conduct workforce planning and succession planning to ensure the right talent is in place.
  • Develop and manage the HR budget.

Talent Acquisition:

  • Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent.
  • Track recruitment KPIs and suggest improvements, as needed.
  • Design effective onboarding programs that aligned with the company culture.

Employee Relations:

  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Design and Implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance job satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve employee grievances and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.

Performance Management:

  • Develop and implement performance appraisal systems.
  • Guide managers in setting performance standards and conducting evaluations.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to employees to promote growth and development.

Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and manage training programs to enhance employee skills.
  • Develop leadership development programs to build a robust leadership pipeline.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
  • Ensure competitive salary structures and benefits packages to attract and retain talent.

Compliance and Legal:

  • Ensure compliance with Egyptian labor laws and regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor legislation and implement necessary changes.
  • Handle disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with legal requirements.

HR Analytics and Reporting:

  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to make data-driven decisions.
  • Prepare and present regular HR reports to the top management.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.A Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is preferred.A minimum of 10 years of HR experience with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.Proven track record in strategic HR management and implementing HR best practices.Strong understanding of Egyptian labor laws and regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent leadership and people management skills.Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.High level of integrity and confidentiality.Proficiency in English.
