Job Summary:
The Project Sales Specialist is responsible for driving the sales process for assigned projects, from initial contact through to closing the sale. This role involves working closely with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions that meet or exceed their expectations. The specialist will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

 


Key Responsibilities:Client Engagement: Identify and engage with potential clients, understand their needs, and present appropriate solutions.Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve project-specific targets.Proposal Development: Prepare and present detailed proposals, including cost estimates, timelines, and project plans.Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, close sales, and ensure contracts are signed and agreed upon.Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and ensuring customer satisfaction.Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including project management, engineering, and finance, to ensure successful project delivery.Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably in a project-based environment. Experience in the relevant industry is a plus.Skills:Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent negotiation and closing skills.Ability to understand and explain technical concepts.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Strong organizational and time management skills.Competencies:Customer Focus: Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.Results-Driven: Consistently achieves project-specific sales goals.Problem-Solving: Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.Collaboration: Works effectively and cooperatively with others; establishes and maintains good working relationships.Working Conditions:Primarily office-based with regular travel to client sites as required.
