Job Description:
As a Freight Forwarding Pricing Member, your primary responsibility is to manage and optimize the pricing strategies for shipping and freight forwarding services provided by the company. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the competitiveness and profitability of the business within the logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze market trends, competitor pricing strategies, and customer requirements to develop competitive pricing models for freight forwarding services.
2. Work closely with sales, operations, and finance teams to ensure pricing strategies align with business objectives and market conditions.
3. Negotiate rates with carriers, shipping lines, and other service providers to secure cost-effective transportation solutions for clients.
4. Monitor and evaluate pricing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement pricing adjustments as needed.
5. Collaborate with the pricing team to develop pricing tools, processes, and guidelines to streamline pricing management and quotation processes.
6. Provide support to the sales team in preparing pricing proposals and responding to customer inquiries regarding pricing.
7. Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and pricing dynamics to make informed pricing decisions.
8. Contribute to the development and implementation of pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
9. Communicate pricing updates and changes effectively within the organization and to external stakeholders.
10. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to pricing and freight forwarding practices.
1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.2.
