  • Bring leading-edge thinking, methodologies, and approaches to the design and development of e-content and e-learning courses and multimedia.
  • Provide creative and innovative solutions to digital delivery of the existing portfolio of courses by applying requirements analysis techniques, and andragogy/heutagogy principles to a continuous improvement cycle informed by research and evidence and build excellent rapport and relationship with clients and subject matter experts.
  • Implement secure, cost-effective IT solutions consistent with Alfanar Projects (onshore and offshore) standards to deliver high-impact and interactive digital and blended learning experiences for versatile sectors staff.
  • Serve as the point of contact for the maintenance, support, and updating of the LDC web platform. 
  • Lead a transformation process to deliver learning material, review educational content, and incorporate current technology in developing specific eLearning curricula.
  • Collaborate with Alfanar business units' subject-matter experts (SMEs) and other internal and external sources to compile course content and other elements of instruction.
  • Conduct needs analysis with clients to understand the needs of the organization and identifies solutions resulting in effective and targeted design of learning solutions.
  • Maintain Curriculum Catalogue on all curricula data that is inputted into the LMS to ensure integrity across all users.
  • Ensure that programs and activities focus on leading and managing in a learning-specific context and specific technical topics, liaising with subject matter experts where needed to maximize the relevance of content and activities for all Alfanar Projects sector participants in the LDC platform. 
  • Oversee the functional management of the digital learning designers and developers on a day-to-day basis to ensure access to products and services and continued growth.
  • Oversee the documents regarding LMS processes, policies, and capability & people dev. in DMS as necessary.
  • Leads projects from design to implementation and guide projects through the phases of design document, macro, micro, look and feel, alpha, beta, gold, pilot, launch, and evaluation.
  • Develop dynamic, customized, experiential e-learning courses and multimedia using a variety of technology tools
  • Prepare and maintain reports and records of all learning and development information and activities to ensure achieving department targets.
  • Report to the departments' senior leadership to devise, deliver, and monitor/evaluate annual targets.
  • Lead quality assurance processes for Digital Learning Solutions, ensuring data reporting, analyses, and project tracking are provided in an accurate and timely manner, and action/development plans are initiated as required.

06 - 08 years of relevant work experience. Experienced in instructional design and e-learning development based on experiential, adult-centered learning, and using blended learning and innovative technologies.Experience with digital learning authoring and AI tools.Knowledge of the principles of learning including adult learning, learning styles, participatory methods, instructional design, Appreciative Inquiry, whole systems design, e-learning, and related topics.Experience in web development, and programming for learning-based solutions.Minimum Bachelor’s degree, (or equivalent) in educational technology or equivalent qualification.CPTD / MCIPD Member, Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development / Certified Professional in Talent Development would be an added advantage.
