- Manage the assembly line daily activities, and is accountable on achieving the production plan and targets meeting the time, cost, and quality targets.
- Participate with the section head in launching new business lines, assess the readiness of the line, and apply improvements where needed for a successful launch.
- Work with the foreman on the allocation and rotation of the team members to achieve the best results and avoid manpower shortage.
- Work towards achieving the highest safety standards through assigning safety KPIs to the foreman and the team. Educate and train the team on the best safety measures, address daily incidents, and apply effective actions.
- Achieve the highest standards of quality as per the internal quality targets and represent the assembly shop in the voice of customer meeting with the customers and other production team management.
- Ensure the availability of the tools and equipment needed for the team to perform their jobs smoothly and timely.
- Ensure that the team are filling the job cards for each product accurately and completely and conduct a final review on the job card details and stamps.
- Work with the rectification team on identifying the parts that need repair at the end of line and ensure resolution before final delivery.
- Assist the section head in the knowledge transfer and cascading of all new technical knowledge to the team and assess their capabilities and capacity.
- Monitor the working procedures in alignment with the desired quality standards and customer expectations.
- B.Sc in Engineering (Automotive - Mechanical - Mechatronics - Production) - +4 years of experience "preferred with Automotive background".- Very good Computer Skills in MS Office.- Strong communication Skills & problem-solving abilities.- Very good command of the English language.- Strong Leadership Skills, People Management, and Conflict Management.
