- Design travel packages and itineraries.
- Design and sells honeymoon packages.
- Handling FIT requests and create bookings through different reservation systems along with direct contracting.
- Sells readymade group packages for outbound Travel.
- Sells the optional sightseeing tours and transfer for outbound travel.
- Follow up with clients through e-mails and calls to provide the updates of their existing bookings for all the booked travel services.
- Prepare travel proposals and contracts for the client.
- Handle holidays packages operation for groups.
- Handles Customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints.
- Outgoing calls to agents and suppliers to manage the accounts receivable and payable.
- Contact different suppliers (Hotels, sightseeing, airlines, local tour operator…etc) to confirm and follow up on outgoing travel services.
- Assist in training new employees.
Minimum of 5 years work experience in sales or tourism industry.Minimum of 3-year experience in tourism in the outbound department.Proven working experience as a Travel Consultant.Excellent knowledge of traveling software (computer reservations systems, GDS systems and e-travel).Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.Well versed in various areas of travel (international, business/holidays, group/individual etc)Knowledge of leisure destinations outside Egypt.Flexible to travel abroad to handle Group trips.Very Good expertise in Microsoft Outlook and Office programs.Excellent Communication and time management skills and excellent customer focus attitude.
