These values got us to where we are today, and they’re a big part of what we’re looking for in you.What you will doAs a Global Tax and Statutory lead/ Manager you will build & manage the international tax & Statutory function at Noon Academy for 6+ countries across MENA, South Asia & UK, in order to achieve the maximum tax efficiency at group level and prevent any risks or non-compliance with applicable tax laws or regulations.Responsibilities• Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within required timeframe.• Build relationships and interact with tax authorities & tax advisory firms to provide innovative tax planning & consulting for all countries.• Preparation and submission of monthly & quarterly tax returns for VAT, withholding, payroll tax, ...etc.• Preparation & delivery of transfer pricing studies & intercompany agreements between all countries (subsidiaries) to achieve tax efficiency at a group level.• Review all company agreements & contracts and provide advice from tax & compliance perspective.• Represent the company in all tax inspections/audits with tax authorities:• Maintain accurate tax balances & provisions on General Ledger.• Assist & advise in building Noon's internal finance policies in compliance with tax accounting, audit & IFRS standards.• Act as the focal point & communication channel between Finance team and tax consultant, external auditor & legal Dept.  About youRequirements• 5 to 7 years of experience in international tax, Statutory & compliance with strong focus on VAT, withholding, corporate tax, transfer pricing & related party transactions.• MENA & GCC Experience with exposure to complex tax situations. Tech/eCommerce experience will be an advantage.• External Audit, Internal control & financial reporting background will be value added.• Experience in preparing separated & consolidated financial statements as per localGAAP & IFRS• Analytical mindset, strong leadership, independent & willing to build things from scratch.• Excellent communication skills - English is the main communication language.• Proficiency in Excel & PowerPoint.
