- By his knowledge on glass and glass processing, the Product Technical Support Engineer is establishing relationships with processing plants to use flat glass. Giving advice and guidelines for processing Saint-Gobain Glass products
- Technical inspection /Audit/certification of processors:
- Technically qualifying processors in SGG Egypt area, in collaboration with the Sales & Marketing managers of SGG Egypt particularly in regard to value-added products processing with a focus on coated glass for solar control and low E performances.
- Thereafter, regularly check compliance with instructions and the quality of products after processing
- Make a systematic report after each inspection.
- Reporting and data collection:
- Planning monthly the visits/training
- Making Reporting
- Build and maintain a database of major glass processors, customers, and clients, including technical information about their production equipment and information about their major suppliers in the strategic areas of SGG Egypt: Egypt, Libya, and Sudan
- Benchmark: Establish a benchmark of our products with those of the competition in strategic areas, particularly regarding their processability, collect samples of competition and delivering them to the regional R&D centres for analysis
- Training/presentations: Organize specific training internal and external (operators in the processing factories, management, as well as representatives of major firms of architects, consultants)
- Support:
- Provide technical support on any problems, questions, disputes, or claims linked to Saint-Gobain Glass products processing.
- Give advice to processors for new equipment and machines.

Mechanical Engineer1-2 years of experience in Glass field or in glass machines (especially tempering furnaces)Knowledge accurate in terms of glass, and most notably in terms of processed glass for architectural applications: cutting, tempering, double glazing, laminating...
