Compliance Officer

-Develop and implement an effective compliance program in collaboration with the group compliance team.
-Conducting Compliance Risk Assessments as per group standards.
-Ensure pro-active advice to all relevant stakeholders related to (but not limited): Anticorruption, Third-Party --Screening, Sanctions, Data Privacy, Anti Money Laundering, Antitrust.
-Monitor changes in legislation and take appropriate action to create awareness.
-Implement policies, procedures and guidelines through adequate measures within the company.
-Work closely with the group compliance function to deliver appealing and engaging training and awareness sessions related to policies including Code of Conduct, Anti-Corruption, Gifts and Hospitalities, Anti Money Laundering, Conflict of Interest etc.
-Full responsibility for incident management and conducting independent compliance investigations.
-Conducting Business Partner Due Diligences with focus on Integrity and Compliance. (e.g., when onboarding new partners) Collaborate with external and internal auditors and other departments such as HR as and when needed.


-Bachelors degree preferably in law -10 years relevant working experience within an (international) law firm or Multinational company combined with at least 7 years working experience as Compliance Officer.-Good understanding of compliance topics and relevant laws & regulations including anti-money laundering, anti-bribery & corruption, competition, sanctions and data privacy Strong knowledge of (international) best practices-Ability to keep oversight in a complex environment yet proper attention to details
