What you’ll do:

Positions holders are typically field based focusing on the delivery of planned maintenance programs to ensure reliable and safe asset operation.

Responsibilities

• To carry out ‘A’ service maintenance as per work instruction on Aggreko generators

  
  

• To carry out major maintenance as per work instruction on Aggreko generators

  
  

•  To carry out systematic fault finding and repairs on mechanical equipment including DC control circuits.

  
  

•  To carry out Aggreko ‘Health Checks’, interpret results and carry out required adjustments / repairs.

  
  

•  To carry out procedural based failure reporting using paper and electronic systems

  
  

•  To complete and maintain paper and electronic records as per site specifics.

  
  

•  Operate the Aggreko service mobility system.

  
  

•  To operate, diagnose Aggreko generator controllers.

  
  

•  Issuing non- AC electrical ‘permit to work’. (LOTO)

  
  

•  Assisting with the installation and demobilization of Aggreko equipment.

  
  

•  To follow and comply with Aggreko QHSE standards.

It is a requirement and moral obligation of each employee to be actively committed and accountable for compliance to the Aggreko Health, Safety & Environmental policies, operating procedures and compliance to local legislation. 

  
  

You’ll have the following skills and experience: 

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Minimum)

  
  

• +3 years minimum in similar role

  
  

• Good Communication skills ( English and Arabic ) - must be able to complete reports legibly.

  
  

• Effective troubleshooting capability.

  
  

• Ability to read electrical drawings.

  
  

• Ability to work in a team environment, but also on own initiative.

  
  

• Previous Experience with Cummins/Iveco/Scania Diesel Generator engines.

  
  

• Previous experience in GAS Engine is a plus.
