Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/.Job Overview:The Emerging Market Launch Excellence Lead & Precision Medicine Manager holds a critical role in leading the strategic planning and execution of Precision Medicine strategies within the Emerging Market region. This position encompasses driving cross-functional collaboration, overseeing diagnostic strategy, and ensuring seamless execution of precision medicine initiatives for a portfolio across various therapeutic areas& plays a pivotal role in orchestrating and implementing strategies to ensure successful product launches. They are responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation of launch plans, driving cross-functional collaboration to achieve commercial excellence in product introductionsResponsibilities:Strategic Precision Medicine Leadership: Develop and execute the Precision Medicine strategy for various assets across therapeutic areas, ensuring alignment with regional objectives and brand-specific requirements.External Engagement & Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with external partners, including government bodies, diagnostic companies, labs, and scientific societies, to bolster Precision Medicine strategy and drive collaboration in diagnostic initiatives.Diagnostic Landscape Insights: Gather insights into the testing landscape, identifying critical pain points within the diagnostic journey to improve patient identification through genetic testing.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide expertise and guidance on Precision Medicine to Cross-Functional Teams (CVTs) Marketing, Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, and other relevant departments to ensure alignment and a unified approach during the launch phase focusing on launch readiness, patient identification, and biomarker testing.Internal Education & Capability Building: Educate and train Cross-Functional Teams and senior leadership on diagnostic market dynamics, fostering internal capabilities essential for long-term success in Precision Medicine.Competitive Advantage Establishment: Collaborate with CVTs to leverage market understanding, address customer needs, and counter competitor strategies, ensuring current and future competitive advantage.Field Team Training & Deployment: Ensure appropriate training of field teams (MSLs, sales reps, PM field) on biomarker testing, contributing to enhanced understanding and adoption among stakeholders.Budget Oversight & Performance Monitoring: Develop and monitor KPIs for Diagnostic & Precision Medicine initiatives within CVTs, owning the budget for these initiatives across the region.Launch Project Management: Lead and coordinate launch projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and predefined success metrics.Launch Readiness Assessment: Assess and address the readiness of teams and resources for upcoming product launches, identifying potential risks and developing mitigation plans. Launch Plan Execution: Execute launch plans by coordinating various activities such as market research, market access strategy, promotional activities, sales force training, and communication plans.Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor launch performance against predefined KPIs, conduct post-launch evaluations, and identify areas for improvement to optimize future launches.Qualifications: Qualifications & Skills:Demonstrable experience in diagnostics commercialization within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.Strong leadership skills with an enterprise mindset, capable of influencing and managing complex internal and external stakeholders effectively.Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.Proven track record in managing scientific and financial data, identifying key issues, and establishing business priorities.Adherence to J&J Credo Values, SOPs, Policies & Guidelines, and the ability to exhibit behaviors aligned with J&J's Global Leadership Profile.Strong project management capabilities and experience working in cross-functional teams.Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred (advanced business or life sciences, MD, PharmD, or PhD).Proven experience in launch management, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry. Strong project management skills, capable of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment and lead teams towards common launch objectives. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, market trends, and customer insights to inform launch strategies.
